Printed image, Laser cutter, Spray paint
Rhode Island was a popular slave transport location. At a time, Rhode Island had the highest slave per capita percentage. The work reflects the erasure of information regarding Rhode Island's high-level involvement in slavery. Old Imageries of slave sale posters and runaway posters were used in the construction of this work.
The original image of the posters reveals themselves under certain angles under the sun.
